As the great Charles Barkley would say โthereโs some real god damn fools out hereโ if you think thereโs magnets youโve never played basketball for any meaningful amount of time cuz this shit happens, itโs physically possible, if the rim is magnetic why doesnโt the ball fall in the same few ways? The variety of bounces the basketball makes per game is evidence enough there no magnets or else most layups would look awkward flying into the rim instead of falling into it
