I think just because they’re young and dumb, they will go far lol no experience needed! Team play is on another level

Grizzlies have getting upset in the playoffs written all over them. Young team. Led by a small point guard. No playoff experience. I would take that bet with Perkins😂

Plus they don’t play well against the Mavs & if the Mavs stay the 3 seed will likely play them in the second round.

    • Easy Life

      March 31, 2022 at 4:42 pm

      They had experience last yeat

Perk earlier this year was on the Suns bandwagon and calling them “those Dawgs from the desert” and even called them the beginning of dynasty last year. Ever since Perk had that Memphis BBQ, he’s jumped ship 😂

    • Josh

      March 31, 2022 at 1:01 pm

That BBQ do be hitting lol

I gotta feeling these other more experienced Western conference teams are gonna have something planned for Ja

    • Mtown302

      March 31, 2022 at 5:36 pm

they have a team full a ballers, even if Ja plays bad, they can win.

    • Dena Brown

      March 31, 2022 at 9:43 pm

They always think they have something planned for Morant and he does what he wants anyway.

    • Jesse Scroggins

      March 31, 2022 at 10:34 pm

Yeah double and triple to keep him from dropping 40+. That’s ok. Let Ja swing it out to Bane, Brooks. Even let Melton, Tyus, Anderson, or Konchar catch and shoot it. You can try to contain Ja but who are you leaving open?

    • BRXNDAVELI

      April 1, 2022 at 1:28 pm

@Dena Brown playoffs a different game Lmaoooo

    • Dena Brown

      April 1, 2022 at 3:04 pm

@BRXNDAVELI so they’re gonna try the playoff way of stopping him and not the regular season way? Lol!! He averaged 30.2 PPG in the playoffs last year.
Now they gotta stop JJJ (who had just gotten back from injury last playoffs) Bane, Brooks, and Melton. I’m convinced people who say things like this haven’t seen the Grizzlies play.

I gotta feeling theirs a lot of hate for some reason. The Grizzlies are going to the Finals….Young or not…its Basketball. Knowledge and maturity comes when it comes, even if their young😉

  7. Expert Critic

    March 31, 2022 at 12:35 pm

How do you put Morant in MVP conversation when the guy missed 20 games out of which his team won 18. Thats no MVP

We are ready for the sun’s tomorrow 💪🏽

    • Master Marcon

they’re ducking the smoke. Adams, Bane, Jackson, Jones are all doubtful

    • Titan Up

      March 31, 2022 at 8:29 pm

@Master Marcon Aha might be resting if sun’s not resting anyone’s then we will get destroyed

    • Dena Brown

      March 31, 2022 at 9:45 pm

@Master Marcon you mean using common sense? They aren’t playing for anything. Why not rest players?

I love my Grizz but something don’t sit well with me about this

I’m calling CAP on Kendrick Perkins. Ja Morant has never averaged 38 points a game this season. Stop Lying bro

    • Easy Life

      March 31, 2022 at 4:47 pm

      He meant 28 lol

    • Samuel Famosa

      March 31, 2022 at 5:42 pm

@Easy Life lol there is a huge difference between 28 and 38. And he said 38 on multiple occasions. Either way Ja more than should make the 1st team all nba. But playoffs are a different ball game

  19. Geechee Sean

Ja has to get in the paint to score. That ain’t working in the playoffs. Homie needs a mid range and perimeter shot before he carries teams in the playoffs

    • Dena Brown

      April 1, 2022 at 6:11 pm

There’s a reason this doesn’t have any likes.

  23. Jonathan Muldrow

    March 31, 2022 at 6:02 pm

The Suns started off 1-3. They are 62-14. If they win it all, which I think they will, they should be talked about as an all time great team. There’s way more stiff/elite competition today than the superteam 17-18 Warriors had to play. And took out Kawhi to get there. Memphis the 2nd best team tho.

    • Jordan Johnson

      March 31, 2022 at 9:44 pm

Nah. Not took out Kawhi to get there. /

    NBA bout to get rocked:
This season, the Memphis Grizzlies starters (Morant, Brooks, Bane, Adams, JJJ) have played a combined 96 minutes together. The way injuries and Covid stuff was staggered out among the starters is the reason.

    In those 96 mins:

    117.0 Offensive Rating
    94.6 Defensive Rating
    +22.4 Net Rating

They will all be on the floor at tip off when Round 1 starts.
