Trae is that dude, but idk tf he’s thinking at times. Your team has a nice lead, you come down the court and throw up a logo 3 early in the shot clock? Not smart basketball. Play through Hunter and Bogi. Why force that long 3?! My opinion, his bad shot selection is why the Wizards were in it at the end.

@Jon155 I agree, but it probably doesn’t come down to those freethrows if we move the ball and get higher percentage shots.

@Fredrick Blackwell True, but that’s just what happens sometimes during a season. I honestly think it was because of his ankle injury that had him questionable to play last game. I noticed how he stopped driving the ball completely in the 2nd half and just kept settling for long 3s. That’s something a lot of players do when they have nagging injuries. I’ve done it myself back when I played ball in high school. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sits out a game or two pretty soon. Especially since the Hawks have a lot of back to backs coming up

I agree. We seem to always end up blowing a double digit lead late to either lose or barely hang on for a win. Gotta get better at closing games out.

Nice to see Trae get some help from Hunter and Bogi has been playing well too but Collins man idk what is going on with him but we’re gonna need him to contribute more if we want to get to the play-in!! Also nice to see Thomas Bryant back playing well he can ball let’s not forget what he was doing before the injury!!

Trae is one of my favorites pg, and he’s play makings and visions are out of this world, for me he’s underrated. And without a co superstar in his team he can carry the team by his superb play making and sharp shooting even though he’s small pg. Looking forward for all future games best wishes and good health for trae and his team

Trae Young didn’t shoot the ball very well in this game, but he managed to get to the free throw line against the Wizards, so that automatically offsets the 6-22 shooting from the field against the Wizards.
