This is the REAL Shaq. Not tv clown how-many-rings-I-got Shaq. Most dominate.

Shaq tries to pretend he’s a kid who roughed it out of the hood. It’s not true. He was lucky to have a responsible step-father who was in the military. They traveled the world and were want for nothing. He has also disillusioned himself to believe he routinely spread and ran the floor like Giannis and Magic do. We are watching a complex in real-time.

Did you see Shaq is high school and college? He could run like Giannis and had above average handles for a bigman. He would’ve been a different player if grew up in today’s game

@SpamandJam JamandSpam He was very mobile for his size, but he claims he inspired the unicorns we see today. Not true.

Man Shaq got to play with Penny Hardaway and Kobe. That’s some talent. For the young kids out there that don’t know it’s nice for this older guy to see Shaq throw the name Dennis Scott out there and Penny Hardaway. Those Orlando Magic guys were coming for the EAST. They just needed a few more pieces and a better coach but it broke apart before it could materialize.

Sad to say, but Kobe’s passing away really changed Shaq. I like how much more humble he has become, and that doesn’t take away from his greatness one bit!

I remember Shaq the way he used to be when he first entered the league and then went to the Lakers. Bold, brash, in your face, wanting to be that Hollywood movie star, that flash rap star. I first saw him play for LSU in 1991, and then that brilliant game during 1992 March Madness, I was a huge fan from the start and wanted him to develop more in the NBA into the dominant big man but also add on a bit of Hakeem Olajuwon to his game and life. It is so great to see him now as a man. He is humble, respectful, and full of praise and consideration for those who made him who he was. It took many people to help him in life. I am so glad I was able to be his fan and a fan of the NBA during that era. I am so glad to see where he matured to in life. I sure wish that Kobe was there too. All that old baggage gone. Just two men after their careers trying to be good men, fathers, and trying to pass on something honest and true to the next generation with tough but necessary advice.
Great segment, Shaq.
