Joel Embiid added 37 PTS, 9 REB and 4 BLK for the 76ers in the victory, while RJ Barrett tallied 24 PTS, 5 REB and 6 AST for the Knicks in the losing effort. The 76ers improve to 37-23 on the season, while the Knicks fall to 25-36.

Harden is the only player in NBA history with 25+ points and 10+ assists in each of his first two games with a team and he’s done it twice: Nets in 2021 and 76ers in 2022.

I think harden tanked his way out of brooklyn just to be traded to sixers where he really wants to be and now playing great. Both teams are now happy with that trade but still waiting to see who will succeed more.

I’m not gonna let anyone forget Embiid had his team in 3rd place leading the league in scoring as a center BEFORE the trade. Don’t anyone tell me he had to much help for MVP now that harden is here

It’s very weird because Harden creates space on offense… but doesn’t move his legs enough to play defense. It’s a give an take with Harden… You need a good defender to make up for his slow defense legs.
