Led by James Harden’s 34 PTS, 10 REB and 10 AST, the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Boston Celtics, 123-109, in Game 5. Kyrie Irving (25 PTS) and Kevin Durant (24 PTS, 4 REB) added 49 PTS for the Nets in the victory, while Jayson Tatum tallied 32 PTS, 9 REB and 5 AST for the Celtics in the losing effort. The Nets have now closed out this best-of-seven series, 4-1, and will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals to face the Milwaukee Bucks.

    The thing about this stacked “big three” team, is that the fourth option, Harris is also great, and Blake Griffin is pretty good in his role. I doubt anyone can beat this team this year.

    Favoring 3 point shooting makes for a lot of very boring blowouts. A lot could be fixed just by allowing defenders to defend the 3, instead of calling a foul for breathing wrong on the shooter.
