Led by Jalen Brunson’s 23 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, the No. 5 seed New York Knicks defeat the No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5, 106-95. RJ Barrett added 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory, while Donovan Mitchell tallied 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the Cavaliers in the losing effort. After closing out the best-of-seven series, 4-1, the Knicks now advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals where they will face the winner of the Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks series (Heat lead, 3-1).
