Jaylen Brown (32 points, 6 rebounds, 4 3PM) and Derrick White (25 points, 5 assists, 7 3PM) combined for 57 points for the Celtics, while Jayson Tatum added 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists in the victory. Donovan Mitchell tallied 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Cavaliers in the losing effort. The Celtics lead this best-of-seven series, 1-0, with Game 2 taking place on Thursday, May 9 (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Brown shooting 54% in the playoffs this season – overrated Tatum only shooting 40%. Brown has always been better.

With the Denver Nuggets now showin’ their
‘True Colors’🙄, it looks like the NBA Finals will be either the Celtics against the Thunder, or the Celtics against the Timberwolves, while all of the other ‘namebrand’ players, such as LeBron, Steph, Beard, PG 13, Embiid etc start vacation early.
Not exactly the Finals anyone really expected, but still should have plenty of viewers.
Not exactly what sponsors had expected either.
