Rubio had 38 points against the USA team in the last Olympics and was MVP in the Basketball World Cup in 2019. He is unquestionably one the best guards in the world and the NBA will be showing him the respect he deserves.

People forget this guy was one of the youngest superstars in Europe. He was the youngest player to play in the Spanish ACB League. And he debuted in the EuroLeague at age 16. Drafted at 19 to the NBA. I wish coaches and organizations didn’t give up on him so early on in his career when he played for underperforming teams. People called him soft and said he didn’t live up to his potential. This is what happens when a coach trusts his point guard.
