Luka is trash! I told y’all. They pulled Doncic of D on Paul, because he can’t defend, and the tempo was way faster because of Brunson. Brunson outscored Luka tonight. When Brunson isn’t being taken out of the game by Luka’s play, the tempo becomes a lot faster, the defense gets caught out of place, people move around more, the ball moves around more, and there’s more open shots. That was all because of Brunson, not Luka!

Mavs played great defense tonight against Devin Booker and CP3. The Mavs defense held Devin Booker to 18pts tonight and they also held CP3 to 12pts. They forced other Phoenix Suns to beat them like Jae Crowder. They did a good job of taking the ball out of Devin Booker’s hands and forcing other Phoenix Sun players to make shots. They knew that they could live with Jae Crowder making big shots, but they couldn’t live with Devin Booker or CP3 making tough shots, so defensively they were very well connected tonight.

Dallas should try Powell as a stretch big. He may not be as good a shooter as Kleber, but he can knock down shots when wide open. The lobs just aren’t threatening, and having him at the dunker spot crowds the paint when Luka and Brunson appears to find success in drives.
