The Jazz can pull away from the Grizzlies almost at will with Mitchell. First quarter, when they’re locked in, big lead which is held most of the game. Then the Jazz let their foot off the gas and the Grizzlies chip away until the game is almost over, then the Jazz wake up and build a lead again.
Props to Memphis for playing hard, but they are nowhere near the level of the Jazz. The Jazz have another gear or two while Grizzlies are topped out all game.

Honestly, as a Memphis fan I’m not surprised we lost. I think they could’ve played better Defense in the 1st Quarter. A guy was open hitting 3s back to back and nobody did anything about it

conley needs more credit broo tru vet with hella playoff experience. nice to see him ball out gainst his former team. him alongside z’bo, rudy gay, oj mayo and gasol was fun to watch. they were the tru underdogs and were so close but lost in the WCF.. screw the clippers and suns lol memphis deserves their time and conley doing this is going to remind them of their roots and to play better

Jazz are really tough to beat when they have a fresh Mitchell to close out games. He did too much last year. This year he is making plays and picking his spots more so he can have most of his energy in crunch time. This is a dangerous team.

One of the reasons why warriors had a dominant playoff run in their first title in the modern era is they out-rebound opponents in terms of offensive rebounds. I think the Jazz need to up their %ORB in order go deep into the playoffs!

  32. ASURAN24

    May 31, 2021 at 1:04 am

I don’t know, man. I know Quin is not trying to have the current version of the Jazz emulate the 2014-15 Warriors. But I truly think there are some common attributes that his warriors team and the Jazz team share in common. I hope every member of the team would spend an hour+ to finish watching this documentary.
There are things like keep shooting threes regardless of the outomce od the previous possession and the team’s relentless approach in snagging offensive rebounds that made them a great team. Down twenty is still a winnable game for them. I hope the Jazz have that mentality. Otherwise, they won’t be able to get past the 2nd round and get to west finals and Finals.
Another takeaway is Jingles need to be the Andre for the Jazz
