In his prime, Westbrook was a monster scorer with lightning speed and the power and jumping ability to dunk over players bigger than himself.

20/20/20 is so absurd, man. Really hoping Russ has a bounceback year. His IQ for the game may not be the best but I’d like to see the effort and tenacity with which he plays the game go rewarded. Not to mention the respect he’s always had for the fans by not taking games off.

A performance this exceptional cements a player in the Hall of Fame, regardless of how well they may have played before or after. Westbrook was INSANE this match. 💪

He almost did it again when he played for Wizards. He had 20 assists and rebounds but he had like 14 points.

Who had the best prime ever to exist, and is Westbrook debatable for that title

In his prime he still didn’t make players around him better period. Durant Westbrook Harden they do not make players around them better. When you are elite you make your team better around you. If anyone says they do they should just stop watching basketball no knowledge obviously. In their primes great individual players but getting assist doesn’t make your teammates better none of these 3 ever grasped that understanding

I was never a fan of Westbrook and at times I hated him. But he doesn’t deserve all the hate nowadays. He’s a great player with great intensity which at times his weakness too.
You can argue he hasn’t achieved much in terms of winning but you can say that for many great players. At least he already went to the Finals and some decent playoffs success. He has many , probably unbeatable, achievements and records. I really think what happened last season is the combination of him and the Lakers’s inability to utilize each other properly.
