I am no fan of the lottery, but the whole point of the draft and to an extent the lottery is to help smaller market teams get talent. If you do this, you may as well just remove the cap as well. Just let NY, LA and other large markets take all the talent.

Get rid of the Draft lottery not the actual draft cause how 2 teams who had the worst record in the NBA within the last 3 draft lotteries not win the number 1 pick and they fell out of the top 4. It was the Pistons twice in 2023, and 2024 then the Jazz in 2025
