Why couldn’t they wait a couple hours to do the trade? Jazz down mike conley and three solid bench players because of that idiotic trade. We literally gave 4 players for a first round draft pick in 2027 and the Lakers trash.

So Russ maybe in a buyout situation with the Clips. T-wolves thought an aging 6-1 Conley is a better fit than a 6-5 young rising star in D-Lo. How did these teams benefit from practically giving Lebron D-Lo?

I see lots of development in our future. =)

Besides, the point of the Westbrook trade is freeing up roster spots and salary while getting back future assets. They now have $60M in available cap space this Summer. They sent out 4 players and only brought back 3. They’ll buy out Westbrook and open a 2nd roster spot.

As for the young players they brought in… JTA looks like a good defender, solid passer, and energy guy. I like how he gets fired up. Reminds me of Clarkson a little bit, but with more defense and less of a jumper. DJones looks like a Tristan Thompson kind of guy but much younger. In addition, the 2 open roster spots can be quickly filled with 2 players on their G-League team, that they can bring up in Jackson and Juzang. Should make for a fun, very young team (aside from Clarkson and Olynyk).

Why buyout Westbrook? They’re not signing anyone else and that’s a lot of coin. Still no stud and you’ve got no chance without a stud in the NBA.

Jazz officially tanking now with their awful trade with the Lakers. You don’t give away players like Vanderbilt who will rebound and defend when your team is terrible at rebounding and defending.

The Timberwolves beat a tough team in Utah last night. For Anthony⭐ Edwards to become a natural force getting inside the lane and splashing down threes that was the most important part of Minnesotta’s success. Going forward this Wolves team will reacquire D 🏀Angelo Russell. So happy Jaylen 👀Nowells game has flourished on both sides of floor.
He’s tough minded, knocked down some threes, and having McDaniels and Garza was just a brilliant sight to see. Since Garza🔥 has returned from the D League to NBA this game for him versus the Jazz was his best. I really Naz Reid doesn’t get enough credit around the league for how successful he has been for Timberwolves too. This bench for T 📸Wolves
has thrived in areas I thought they wouldn’t.
Really excited about Minnesota truthfully because their a unselfish basketball team.
Way to go Timberwolves on a sweet sweet victory. You guys are one of most fun squads to watch out there in the Western Conference.
    Go Wolves baby. 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🎉🔥

I felt bad for Mike Conley. He didn’t deserve to get traded to Minnesota of all places. I don’t understand why he’s always undervalued.

The jazz have a lot of size, but they can’t keep up with all these smaller guards on the fast break. We have very bad transition defense right now.

I’m super curious to the plan of the Minnesota timberwolves you have Anthony edwards so what the plan to waste all his great years bcuz we know he is young but when u stay with a team for a while and they lose and break promises on rebuild that deflates the player and they become just stat chasers or they leave and u get nothing in return trading for gobert was a mistake in a way but also after seeing that that don’t work with Kat and gobert keeping them and trading away Vanderbilt was just showing the incompetence that is there front office they are not getting a top five pick this year so if they did get picks in return that’s only going to bring let u move up one or two spots in the draft or role players
And good luck getting a team to take gobert unless u will to take an L on the return
