NBA leaders should be based on totals, not average per game. That will solve it.

Fans pay to watch players play. So players have to show up and show off. That’s their day to day job right ?
The problem is that beyond their incredible skills they are just as human as we fans all are ! So they have to rest and take care of their bodies tools of work.
So to find a balance between the fans interests and the players interests of course the league needs a bit of comprimise.
Missing more or less 10 games is ok to me injured or not.
If injured the league give the players more days to recover like 20 max. Below that to me it’s over.

So it wasnt embids fault he missed these upcoming games cuase someone fell on his knee but what about his first 12 games missed and all the games missed last season?

These players abused loadmanagement and the organizations aren’t blameless either giving players rest days when they healthy to save them for the playoffs the fans really suffer

The reason there is a 65 game rule is because the NBA took into account emergencies & injuries, you can use those unplayed games to mend your injury.

    That’s the whole point.

If Embiid didn’t load manage prior to the injury then he might have a chance post injury

joel isn’t helping his own health putting himself out on the floor with questionable injuries just to star chase

that’s what led to this one and it’s happened before

It’s hard to actually make enough impact in a season if you miss 20 games or more. The RS is a marathon, volume of games count.

A few things: joel is playing great in the games he does but he isnt mvp compared to others this season. The game rule is there for a reason, people want to see the stars play and people make the nba money. Also if he worried less about pretending to be in pain on the floor and blocking the ball with his legs for his team to get it he wouldnt have had his leg in a position to be injured like that, so saying the injury wasnt his fault at all is a stretch.

Him going to the deck all the time doesn’t help his body or his game at all. He’s got a Shaq like body type but hits the ground all the time. Him flopping on the floor, all the time, on that big body, has got to contribute to his injuries.

You never see Jokic do that, ever. And he’s not even as big as Embiid and Jokic always plays his game.

Almost 100% of player injuries aren’t actually the players fault themselves lol
If we go by that then nothing changes
    “Oh it wasn’t my fault”

Who fall at Embiid leg to he not play Basketball for his country Cameroon, where he is from, born and got blood line, who’s fault is that? People just care about trophes and gold medals, where is fighting for your people, even if you lose, you lose by giving your best…People who love and look up to Embiid is people who just care by them self and nothing else….Imagine Jokić decide to play for USA,his kid is born in USA just like Embiid, what is wrong with world today when Embiid playing for USA is normal, that man just care about GOLD at Olimpics and if France got better team,he will play for them…Embiid is man gold digger!

He wouldn’t have gotten hurt if he would’ve gotten up off the floor.

You’d think the players would rest during games. Go deep in the bench when necessary.

Teams should be monitoring minutes, not games.
