I see shaqs point. Coaches are there to guide and it’s up to the players to execute said plays. I wouldn’t say coaches don’t matter because they still have to make sure you all play organized

Doc you were always overrated. In Orlando you could not design a play during a timeout. Down I point with 12 seconds, it was ALWAYS inbound the ball to McGrady, let him dribble for 11 seconds and let him take a 3 pointer. No pick, no curl around, no back door, no nothing. That’s Doc coaching, terrible.

The others really don’t get what Kenny is getting at here. Gotta feel sorry for him having to deal with that on the daily. Doc is obviously preemptively preparing for what he must mentally see as an nigh inevitable outcome at this point.

4:02 – Shaq says “so what” about being sensitive and then proceeds to be sensitive when chuck and kenny get him

    Thats the difference.
    Shaq takes responsibility.
    Others blame the scapegoat.

The thing is so many like Doc including myself but he just seems to continue to fall short when it matters. It’s not a knock on either coach but I read a reference about Doc being the Mike Tomlin of the NBA, Id love to see Doc redeem himself bcuz I do like Doc but it is what it is. ✌️💙

Shaq that doesn’t work your so called comment that Jordan told you, you must first learn to fail before you can succeed. Doc succeeded and won a chip then he has failed on numerous teams, good talented teams. And they’re saying it about Doc not all coaches✌️💙

I agree with Shaq, men win games on the court the coach could be sipping a martini and still win the game, good coaching controls the role players, if your a nba star it’s on you. Come on man!!!

That Orlando team wasn’t as bad a Doc is trying to paint it out to be. Ppl also forget he blew a 3-2 lead to Orlando in 09. First time in Boston history they blew a 3-2 lead with home court and lost game 7 at home after having a 3-2 lead

Philadelphia, the city of salt, is getting on Doc’s nerves. It is akin to an abuse spouse, who continually questions worth. Doc is a fine coach.

One lucky chip, mediocre coach. Overrated. He just had great players. Sure even great coaches had great players, but come on, one chip when usually having HOF and future HOF players 🙄
