They also didn’t play many games. Two sweeps versus the spurs with two six game series and a seven. Plus, blowout wins tend to not have as many highlights, which the Knicks had a lot of blowouts.
I’m happy for the Knicks, but it feels kind of bad that they won the game right after a 29-point comeback with the help of the refs. Obviously, OG fouled Fox (though Fox made a stupid decision by trying to make a bucket), and then they missed a backcourt violation. They could’ve still won the series 4-2 or 4-3 anyway.
And the fact that Mitch Johnson didn’t challenge any of those plays is crazy work!
