@ricardobjj24 It’s more than defense it’s leadership. D Mitchell is great in the regular season but he’s not a leader in the playoffs. The same can be said about James Harden. We forget this is the same dude who can’t take accountability for anything and disappears during the playoffs.
Lebron gave the lakers leadership this post season and every post season they’ve been in. He was able to lead a team of role players and sub par centers to the conference semis this year, conference finals a few years ago, and a championship too. Outside of losing to the wolves the lakers under LeBron have only lost against a team that previously won the championship or went on to win and only lost each game by a small margin. James harden or d Mitch with the same pieces wasn’t even gonna come close.
If LeBron is willing to come on a pay cut, LeBron can come run the offense, and Mitchell and harden can focus on scoring because LeBron will ensure the ball is in their hand. Then d Mitchell can play more off ball and try to do more of the dirty work that helps you get wins. And if not then they will have to make some trades and pull a scrappy defender and an additional shooter. Overall through that leadership is what pulls a team together and operate better.
Yeah and LeBron calls up Wade and formed superteams Jordan stayed after the bad boys give me a break all LeBron did is construct superteams where Jordan stayed and won with players through the draft or trades!! He’s not the GOAT 🐐 SORRY
Bro everybody needs help in sports especially in the NBA LeBron is one of the greatest but all he does is jump on superteams he did this coming back to Cleveland with Kyrie and Love and again in LA with AD. It’s like what Barkley and Kenny Smith said years ago he has to have the best players. Yeah MJ had a bad 1st 9 years without Scottie but he faced hall of famers on the Celtics he had literally no help!! All I’m saying is LeBron ring chases and that’s where Jordan fans get pissed off because he’s always running away when it gets tough like it did in Miami after the Spurs whooped the Heat. Jordan did ask for Rodman but Krause always said Mike didn’t care who was on his team he won by willing his teammates to victory no matter who he had. He’s more competitive than LeBron and so isn’t Magic and Larry!!!
@DavidAnthony261My point is that if MJ is the GOAT because he has more championships that means Scottie Pippens name needs to be right beside his because MJ never won anything without Scottie. Facts
@Prime489timeI’m not talking about the rings MJ was just a better player from all of the individual and team accolades the competitive nature the clutch factor how he always delivered on the biggest stage he was just as great defensively as on offense. I’m saying he’s the GOAT 🐐 BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING HE’S DONE
Go to the Wizards and play with AD and Trey Young and finish where MJ finished. Or go to the bulls and finish where MJ played 23. We all know Le🐐 is the biggest MJ fan. Even got Space Jam 2.
I normally agree with Mad Dog, but this time I disagree with him and side with Stephen A in that I really believe that to end his career with Cleveland would be a nice finishing touch to LeBron’s career. And even if it does not end with another title, Cavs fans will always appreciate what he did for them in 2016. There will never be any blemish on that title, unlike what Mad Dog thinks. There was no superteam built in Cleveland, and they actually made history both by coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals, and by defeating the team with the all-time regular season record for wins. And that’s the only major championship for a Cleveland team aside from the NFL Browns in 1964 which is a long time ago.
Besides, I really don’t think LeBron makes a good combo with ball-dominant Luca Doncić, but on the other hand, he could play well with guys like Harden and Mitchell. LeBron tries to play well with any teammates, but I just don’t think Luca and he would ever be a good combination. Let Luca carry the burden now of carrying the Lakers back to championship glory. LeBron’s already helped the Lakers to a title. No need to end his career there, when everyone knows that the Laker gods will always be legends like Magic, Kobe, Kareem, and Shaq over him (all of them surpassed LeBron as Lakers by winning multiple titles and at least one regular season MVP award with the Laker uniform, unlike LeBron). Maybe even Wilt, West and Baylor are also more praised as true Lakers than LeBron. Certainly West is.
But LeBron is the greatest Cleveland Cavalier ever, and maybe for all time. And back in Cleveland, I think the fans will be more realistic and not just expect him to lead them to a title like he’s already done. They’d want to welcome him back home and say farewell to him for such a sterling career.

They currently need defense because Donovan & Harden play 0 of that. LeBron at 42 isnt gonna be the answer to that
