Embiid even followed and taunted Mitchell on his way out. If I were Mitchell, I will make him regret the day he was born

he didn’t hook ben simmons go look at it again , ben had both arms around donovan’s arm and they call offensive on mitchell..

    • Kevin Bonds

      March 5, 2021 at 8:08 am

He definitely hooked him your reacting to the end of the play

    • Rheadog

      March 5, 2021 at 11:28 am

@Kevin Bonds He did not hook him. He literally couldn’t have! Ben Simmons was grabbing his left arm and he was trying to get it loose from Ben. If you are talking about the other arm? that was the one with the ball? The left, He spun to the left to shoot! The only possible way you could justify a hooking call is if he spun to the right. Even then, Ben still fouled before the hook by grabbing his right arm. This was a no call or a foul on Ben. In no way was it an O foul on Mitchell. In the report the league sent a completely different video, if this is what your talking about then yes. But that was earlier in the game.

      March 5, 2021 at 11:47 am

@Rheadog your talking about the end of the play the arm that was grabbed was the arm he hooked him with he hooked and tried to push off and Ben grabbed his arm watch the play again how come commentators and the refs seen it but you can’t

Ben Simmons is not better than Donovan Mitchell

    • Kevin Bonds

      March 5, 2021 at 8:35 am

Hes not a better scorer then Donavan but there’s more to basketball then scoring he’s the NBA’s best on ball defender he creates more 3 pointer then anyone in the league he one of the best handlers and distributors in the game you get more pts. then me I get more steals assit rebounds and I create for my teammates way more

      March 5, 2021 at 9:17 am

@Kevin Bonds yeah all that stuff go out the window in the playoffs when teams lock in and shut off his drives

    • Kevin Bonds

      March 5, 2021 at 9:25 am

@Kevo The Goat he was horribly coached in previous playoffs we’ll see Doc puts him in the position to win you seen what he can do in the playoffs with shooters and he is better now then 3 years ago he has the perfect team around him I would love to replace Danny Green with Zach Levine Kyle Lowry or Victor Oladipo but he’s grown alot and we’ll see this year what happens in the playoffs

      March 5, 2021 at 9:29 am

@Kevin Bonds yeah because Doc has done a great job coaching in the playoffs recently 😅

The changing point of that game was when the refs did not change the call from the O’neal save. He clearly saved the ball, we all saw the replay over and over… The ball didn’t bounce out, replay took longer than usual, and yet it was given back to the 76ers.

    • Kevin Bonds

      March 5, 2021 at 8:16 am

Do you know basketball rules the ball didn’t touch out it hit the ref who was out therefore its out on whoever touched it before it touched the ref

You gonna use draymond getting suspended as an argument lol. Lebron had to get him suspended or else he was gonna lose. When does lebron get ejected. How do you start something and get away with it and still call yourself a champion when we all know the ref gave you that title. That’s how I knew this game is corrupt it’s not about the refs feeling it’s about the game of basketball.

He hooked him before that, it’s an offensive foul.

Preach the call was made on the hook the first that that happened anything after that is void

Gross. Max that take is so stinky. You see what time he got elected? Lol last 30 sec? Cmon dude game was already ruined.

    March 4, 2021 at 10:35 pm

I laughed at max when he brought up the offensive foul Donovan made on Ben Simmons. Dude the baseline ref who had no clear sight called it. I watched this game going “huh?” right near the end the sixers got free throw after free throw after free throw, The jazz got controversial turnovers, and then the two technicals right at the end which in a way put away the game truly dominated. We’ve seen people get technicals for begging refs to give other players technicals but embiid essentially begging for Donovan to get ejected pushed it. Like you’re already dominating the jazz with your 40 points and 19 rebounds, let the game be the game that’s just petty

    • Kevin Bonds

      March 5, 2021 at 8:25 am

And when he looked at the other official and made the Tech signal the ref was already in the motion of calling the Tech the Jazz missed every big shot at the end of the game aside from a 3 from Malcom B. The sixers just took advantage I can pick out several bad calls against the sixers but I’m not it goes both ways every game but the calls your referring to were legit

  20. KrisJM1234

Players should be able to vent sometimes, as long they are still respectful and don’t get too intense with anyone physically. A technical foul does not = players huffing and puffing and acting tough for 10 seconds.

How did the Jazz have the best record in the NBA if the refs are against them?

    • Rheadog

      March 5, 2021 at 11:40 am

Because they have played thru and won many of the game regaudless. Its a dumb question. But the Jazz shoot 3’s in case you haven’t noticed. The refs can’t just take 3 points off the board. But, at times they do what they can against bigger market teams to screw the Jazz in big games like this one. Of course it’s not all the time. Nor is it even realized by many, it’s fairly inconspicuous. Besides, no one said they are “against the Jazz” this is more of a small market large market team thing. And when the game means more. The refereeing gets even worse against a smaller market team. We have dealt with it for years. Its nothing new.

    • El Guapo

      March 5, 2021 at 4:03 pm

Jazz have been beating so many teams by double digits. It’s a lot easier to screw them when the games are close

These two morons think that was an offensive foul? They have benefit of hindsight, multiple views angles, staff,
Producers…how could they still be denying it?

Listen, as a Sixers fan, they scared Jazz have a better record than LeBron.

Spida got a BS foul on a 3 to start OT bad calls go both ways. Jazz just fell apart in OT. They let Tobias score on like 5 straight possessions

  25. Rheadog

    March 5, 2021 at 11:18 am

Yes, as Steve Jobs pointed out earlier. We cannot let Embid call technical fouls! This is one of several ways that game was blown. It is indeed one of the worst 1 sided refereed games I’ve seen in the last 2 or 3 minutes ever {ive watched alot of games}. the 2 min. report looks like a CVS reciept….no, much longer/larger! And you don’t realize this unless you watch the Jazz. But, it is bad. Honestly guys, You can’t just discount several players standing up and complaining. Normaly one guy is pissed and we let him cool off. But this is many guys on the team. And, these guys have played on other teams. They know the difference. I can’t belive it took this long honestly. These Jazz players have been extremely nice and played through alot of B.S whilst having the best record in the league. The league and the refs have obviously been calling more fouls to get rid of exccesive or reckless defence over the last 10-20 years. the league has been moving away from defence since the Stockton and Malone / MJ era. Donovan Mitchell is the type of player that drives to the basket and literally gets fouled 80-90% of the time. he is getting the call 20-30% of the time. Embid and Simmons should have both fouled out of that game gaurding Mitchell. People are critical of Mitchell because he gets 33 points on 34 shots. BECAUSE HE IS BEING MOLESTED! how did he not shoot 3 times the freethrows in that game? Stop with the biased calls guys! Just because Mitchell is only 6′ 2′ your not going to give him the call Embid gets? Embid was elbowing guys all night and not getting called for it! lets get real. All we want is equal treatment even if it costs us the game. not the other way around.
