I used to be really low on Champagnie but boy did he prove me wrong. Excellent guy to have on your roster. Great shooter, a pest on defense, and a great teammate. Hope heโs around for a long time.
@HeckThor. I normally watch my playoff hoops at home. But in 2013 I was in a bar in Chapel Hill watching one of the Spurs-Heat Finals series. Every time Danny Green made a play โ especially hitting a shot โ the crowd would rise up and say โDaNNY GREenโ and then laugh-cheer. It was kind of a joyful joke for the locals who had cheered for him in college. Good times.

You donโt mind having him out there, but you donโt feel like heโs adding much, just doing what an average NBA player can be expected to do. This season heโs upped his game a lot. Heโs a plus shooter and defender now, and generally makes good decisions.

Reminds me of Danny Green. Someone rejected by another team but got picked up by the Spurs who eventually becomes a solid 3nD.
