Boon whaz-up the kings success came from fox and buddy’s improvement, and the addition of Bagley, Giles, and Barnes. Jaeger only held us back.

From the games I re-called Fox wasn’t getting that much playing time. Fox rookie season was such a disappointment he didn’t even make the official list of All Star Rookie vs Sophomore. After Lonzo got injured they called Fox up.

Clearly there were some personal disagreements here. I feel for Joerger, but after seeing him go through the same thing in Memphis, we may just have to embrace the fact that maybe he is just kinda difficult to get along with.

You guys look at the record but didn’t watch the team. It’s not that Joerger didn’t win enough games… It’s that he threw away too many. The last game was the last straw.

Good. I approve this firing. This dude stayed yelling at Buddy Heild stifling his game.

give me a break. This is a man’s game, get over it. Ain’t got time for people whining about coaches yelling at players. If you’re a coach, you better be doing some yelling, otherwise you ain’t coaching right.

+WutTheDeuce Fuck that dude. There is only one man who can raise their tone to me and that’s my Dad. These players are not the Coaches children. They’re grown ass me. The have wives and kids just like him. They pay Bill’s and put there pants on just like him. This is a partnership foh

See, READ this dumb ass critic/GMs in the comments. The team obviously turned on him but nobody here watches Kings games to know this. So now, ESPN shapes your opinions and beliefs. Tired of y’all lil bitches

Stefan so true I am so glad they got rid of this coach… he lost us so many games due to poor substitutions alone. One time he played Ben mclemore in the last 4 mins, and had him shoot a technical free throw (buddy was on the floor) and obviously he missed (he’s like 70%) and then we lost by 1. Also he has not played Bagley nearly enough, and countless times fox has played under 30 minutes in losses. Also blowing two 28 point leads in a season is unheard of

Terrible coach. Made terrible decisions. Terrible strategies. Simple things like not fouling when they had them to give.

Greatest move divac has ever did. We won in spite of Dave joerger, our young talent won us 39 games. How you start beligcia over bagley the whole year? Hope we get Marc Jackson

I totally agree. I didn’t like the way he treated Bagley and that he was still riding the bench towards the end of the season. Very stupid on Joerger’s part. I’m glad he’s gone.

Mark Jackson, Tyronn Lue and Monty Williams are on the top of Vlade Divac’s list.

hope they get luke walton who acctually develops young talent well. jorger couldnt make the playoffs and did a horrible job developing young bigs. bagley only 28 minutes a game, harry giles even less. should have benched bjelica or start him at the 3 like wolves did last year. kings should have fired him early season. kings won 30 games in 2011, couldnt develop talent dont remember but think george karl and mike malone both had one as well if not, it was close to it, only developed cousins, and didnt they trade thomas robinson after a year? no development at all.

This firing reminds me of when the Warriors fires Mark Jackson.

Jackson built up and gave confidence to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, and when they hired Steve Kerr, their development from Jackson brought the championships.

Sacramento is a young, hungry team with great talent. They should’ve given Joerger a chance!

Coach Dave Joerger was terrible. What an idiot for not starting Fox, and now Bagley in their rookie seasons. Plus he doesn’t know how to rotate having Bagley off the bench all year was insane!!!

He deserved to be fired, he held his players back. Remember what happened to Buddy Hield’s open shot that could’ve potentially beat the warriors at the buzzer? He hesitated because Joerger was mad and yelled at him for bringing them back in the game ? that got into Buddy’s head and they lost that game
