You do know him and his uncle were asking the owner of the lakers (at the time) for a lot of things they couldn’t give Kawhi right? He even went as far as asking for partial ownership in the team. He didn’t join the lakers because of what his uncle and him were asking for as all the things they asked for were impermissible under the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
