John Wall came home to Raleigh this offseason not only to assist the community, but also to celebrate his return to top NBA form. For most of the last three years, he was recovering from an Achilles tear and mourning the loss of his mother. CloseUp360 captured John’s journey through his annual foundation weekend in his hometown, which included an elementary school visit, Salvation Army drive and basketball youth clinic.

Is it really fair to think that “being someone” means being famous or successful? Sometimes all you need to be someone, be successful is a good parent, a good spouse, and being the person you want to be. That’s being someone.
