Warriors still not guarding the perimeter 3, and still getting confused with screens. Too often I see 3 guys guarding the ball and no one guarding the outside shooters. Kerr has got to get these guys to play more disciplined defense. Maybe they just don’t want to play defense. Still it was a good win.
I know what you mean and I believe it’s going to get there. Sometimes I wonder though, is Kerr right for these group of guys? He seems so lax and nonchalant to me. Like a Mark Jackson, no nonsense/excuses assistant type coach would do them good. From the outside looking in though, just what I think. Not diminishing what Kerr does as a coach.
Same. I’m sure there’s going to be an adjusting struggle like Poole at first. But I expect them two to find a good rhythm by mid season. But I really want to see Smailagic out there soon.
