Because it is *NOT* the NBA Hall of Fame. It is the Naismith *Basketball* Hall Of Fame, so not league specific (although most inductees played in the NBA).

From Dwight story we can get that as an NBA player, you only play through your career once, build it how you want it to be so you can cherish it at the end. He’s one of the greatest, but not recognized enough because of the trajectory of his career. Besides that, everyone who watch the games know how dominant and unstoppable he is

Shout out to Melo and all the Hall of Fame inductees. Dwight is crazy but he deserves to be in the Hall although I was a critic of his induction in the beginning. What was that Jadakiss seen at the ceremony?? Maya Moore is a phenomenal woman and I can easily see her in some government leadership role. How are alot of these guys in the hall but not Penny and C.Webb they’re bodies of work either equal these other guys or eclipse them in Penny’s first 5 years he went to the finals finished close second behind C.webb for rookie of the year he won rookie game MVP,four times all-star,Olympic gold medalist,finish third in MVP voting behind the admiral and MJ,Penny dominated young and didn’t reach his prime because of injuries kinda like the Tupac of rap🤷🏾♂️
