Dylan Harper continues to deliver one of the most historic rookie postseason runs in NBA history.

Relive the best moments from Harper’s incredible playoff journey, featuring clutch scoring, elite playmaking, lockdown defense, and record-breaking performances on the biggest stage.

Harper’s historic Conference Finals performance:
24 PTS | 11 REB | 6 AST | 7 STL

With that performance, Harper joined Magic Johnson as the only rookies since steals became official in 1973-74 to record:
20+ PTS, 10+ REB, 5+ AST, and 5+ STL in a playoff game.

He also joined Julius Erving and Larry Bird as the only players to record those numbers in a Conference Finals game.

More historic milestones from Harper’s playoff run:
• Most points by a rookie in their first Conference Finals game since Andrew Toney (1981)
• Set a Spurs franchise playoff record with 7 STL
• Most minutes by a rookie in a playoff game since Harrison Barnes (2013)
• Most minutes by a rookie in a Conference Finals game since Larry Bird (1980)

The future is already here.

Spurs 2.0, Duncan/Parker/Ginobli –> Wemby/Castle/Harper. The latter three all have the potential to be greater than their predecessor.

Parker cant shoot 3s thats the only prob for him, thats y they ditched him in 2017 but let Manu stayed as a spur until he retires. TP retired as a Hornet which is a punch in da face for him 😢 that was the Curry era which if u cant shoot 3s as a starting guard ull get traded

Someone wise recently said that each of this year’s best rookies are exactly where they need to be.

Dylan and Wemby are gonna become the next Kobe and Shaq. This kid can take over a game in an instant. A new dynasty is brewing in San Antonio.

Even Wemby put his hands on his head when the ā€œrookie teamateā€ does something for the team.
Crazy moves by the young one.

Dylan Harper as a rookie is playing like Manu Ginobili in his third year in 2005.

He’s always so in control of his base and balance. And the way he can go 100% strength to the rim and then a soft little touch off the glass is special.

Said it during the preseason. Dude could start right out of the box. If he can continue to grow as a player like Manu and Tony Parker did, we’re going to win some championships in the future.
