Chamique Holdsclaw won the NCAA womens basketball championship in three consecutive years 1996,1997 and 1998. Caitlin Clark won zero NCAA championship. None nata!
Holdsclaw and Parker will be the last former Pat Summitt players to be inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame. Isabelle Harrison is the final active former Summitt player but she’s not a Hall of Famer.
Chamique always reminded me of Kobe for some reason. Playing styles? Demeanor maybe? I can’t exactly pinpoint what it is, but to me, they favoured one another on the court. And they looked like they could be siblings/cousins in my eyes! Loved watching her play with the Mystics when she first got into the league! Many congrats to this long overdue newest GORGEOUS (c’mon makeup and ensemble🥰) member of the HOF!🏀👏🏾
