Rachel Nichols, Ramona Shelburne and Nick Friedell react to the news that the NBA is considering fining teams up to $10 million for tampering violations, and possibly searching players’ phone records to see if they have tampered. This comes in the wake of an offseason that saw Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Kemba Walker, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and many, many more players change teams.

What’s even the point for small market teams. Rachel basically saying small markets can’t win and they should be happy with it. Very discouraging.

Tampering shouldn’t even exist. Players and teams should be allowed to do whatever they want.

Well I applaud the league for trying to do something to stop these arrogant pricks from ruining the sport, but I think it’s too little too late.

Too little too late, I guarantee the damage has already been done. And he 5 teams to “randomly” get audited will be the small market teams who wouldn’t be afford to afford marque free agents to begin with. There’s way too much leeway with this new set of anti tampering proposals

they might as well cancel all star weekend, don’t let these dudes go outside and have ear muffs on during games. tampering will never stop, especially now that guys are knowing each other from AAU all the way to the league
