I don’t understand what joker was trying to do if they are up 2 with the ball and with 14 seconds left . Wouldn’t they keep passing or wait for the foul ? Maybe im wrong but Joker could’ve cost them the game trying to force the drive.
He forced the drive because the shot clock was running out. If he didn’t get stripped, he would have put it up with less than a second on the shot clock. Therefore, there was no option to play out the 14 seconds.
Joker did the right thing, he tried to shoot with only 2s on the Shotclock. You always take the chance of making a basket insted of just letting the Shotclock go off and gifting the posesion with 7.5s in the clock for a draw up play. Even more so when a 2 pointer only bring the game to OT.
Since Beasley left Denver, he’s been owned by Murray, Garry Harris, and now Thrill Barton. It’s what happens when you’re more focused on wanting to be a big fish in a small pond than being part of a contender.
@callofduty4nut The Nuggets were pretty much forced to trade him because he turned down every contract offer the team gave him, Malik wanted to be paid like a starter. Beasley could be a starter for the T-Wolves if he wasn’t more concerned about scoring with Larsa Pippen than he is scoring on the court.
