It’s cause they didn’t want to switch Jokic onto Doncic so they stayed with a Double Maybe a little too long for Jokic if he just wanted to show to keep Doncic from driving or shooting around the screen. Doncic is very good in that situation one of the best I’ve ever seen. Right up there with Jordan, Bird, Magic, Isiah, Hakeem, Mike Finley, and a Young Penny.

Why don’t they just let Wood ball i the 4th closing lineup. mavs were up when he was playing cos they can’t double Luka. Now Mavs took him out put Powell in everytime they double Luka they rely on their 3pt shooters to make the shot, it is not really sustainable in the long run i would rather have a 3 level scorer with Luka than Powel.

I love Charles but it’s clear he (and the rest of this crew) don’t watch Mavs games. For example, it was Finney-Smith who made the last shot, not THJ.

I think its a misunderstanding between gordon and jokic. In the other hand you cant play easy depense on luka, his IQ is superb on finding open shots and wide open teammates. And also its a hot shooting night for doe and timmy..
