This is why NBA viewership and popularity in the US is declining. Everyone is struggling just to make it, then see all these multimillionaires complaining and whining, acting like primadonnas, upset about having to work 8-10 hours a week. Spoiled brats that have more money than sense.
The NBA needs to have a disabled list. Like MLB’s 15 day list. Then if the player wants to rest a game they are out 15 days. The reason a lot of player don’t do the 25min Chuck is talking about, is they don’t want to weaken their stats. They just don’t dress for the game and they are not on the roster. Make them sit in uniform and get 0 min played and 0s on all stats.
You know who doesn’t get injured? People who play in control of their body. You know who also gets injured? Everyone eventually. That’s why Embiid baffles me so much because most fast small guys get hurt for relying on their speed to be effective, but players like Kyle Anderson who have to play without that advantage, get better at other things in general and I’ve never seen that dude fling his body around like he has 10 more in the locker room to spare.
Well, he got the MVP he cried so hard to get, an easy gold medal, and secured his $$$. Guess he’s happy and content already. The guy is not meant to lead a team to the promise land.
I can’t stand these weak little divas. So called pro athletes. Go do your friggin job. Get paid to sit on the bench and make more money in that day than most people do in a year
