Except him being a decent 3p shooter and a good rim finisher is so insanely good in combination. He obviously shot to practice last year, which anybody with a brain could understand was because the coaches didn’t care about wins so they just wanted him to get some reps in.

For full transparency, I’ve been a diehard Spurs fan since ‘93. However, even if I wasn’t, I’d still be praying for a healthy career from Wemby. Nobody knows what his ceiling looks like. As a basketball fan in general, seeing what Derrick Rose went through is heartbreaking. His injuries robbed him of greatness and robbed the fans of seeing a special career. He was never the same afterwards. We never got to see what his prime would’ve looked like. I think genuine bball fans would agree. I don’t want that for Wemby nor basketball fans. We’re witnessing greatness with Ohtani in baseball and we’re watching greatness in its infancy stages with Wemby if he can stay healthy 🙏🏼

If he can stay healthy he will rule the NBA for the next 10-15 years. Nobody in NBA history is a bigger matchup nightmare because he can get his shot off against any defense and can completely wreak havoc defensively in ways we have seen since maybe Hakeem.
