Hahaha Even I could score 50 pts with that “defense” that all stars players play…

nah Steph’s performance was the Greatest.. one thing he had that the other 2 did not have is his SHOWMANSHIP.. he was out there jumping around.. doing look aways, one-legged 3, doing a floater as high as the shot clock, and hyping the crowd.. the commentators also did a great job going insane in his every shot… Davis and Tatum were “meh, I did a layup/dunk”

Among them is MVP Stephen Curry.

Curry’s 16 threes will never be touched honestly. He scored 48/50 points solely from beyond the arc.

    Steph Curry The Greatest.

The reason why Steph’s performance was better is because of his natural showmanship and joy of the game. Also his crazy 3 pointers.

Tatum’s record was not as impressive since everyone decided to not play defense that night.

Imagine if they strongly require defense on an all star game… It would be so much fun and not as boring as this

  21. Jericho Lopez

    February 21, 2023 at 1:26 am

Steph’s performance last year’s all star set the bar high for this year’s all star that’s why people think this past all star game where Team Giannis won was boring because of last year’s all star game

Stephs was easily the best All-Star game performance. Almost all of his points were 3’s PLUS a lot of those shots were contested. They were guarding Curry and he still showed up and dropped 50 😮‍💨

I’m sure it’s real hard to score 50 when nobody is really guarding you

    • Briann

      February 21, 2023 at 9:44 am

Then why didn’t the other players do it

    • James Quinn

      February 21, 2023 at 9:51 am

@Briann idk. Maybe they didn’t want it that badly or didn’t feel like wasting energy. Either way there was an obvious lack of defense in this game

I miss old all star games !!

  26. jmrjhulk

With that d3fense and type of rules of course they can get 50. Let them play 4 quarters 12 mins with defense and lets see if they can still score 50

  34. Samuel Davidson

    February 21, 2023 at 9:43 am

Actually that’s an embarrassing stat, to say that u scored 50 in an all star game. There’s absolutely no defense these days. No one even pretends as if it’s a summer sweat.

As a Celtics fan, the fact that Tatum could for one shot 3’s, specifically open 3’s, and had a double double with 55 points, 10 rebounds, and adding 6 assist. Not to be biased, but Tatum’s was the best. (Still appreciate Steph’s and Anothony’s 50+ games though)

you will miss MJ and Kobe era where the Defense was too tight in an Allstar game….

not impressed in this defenseless era

  45. Martys

    February 21, 2023 at 9:53 pm

Curry’s 50 pts were 16 3’s and one astonishing 2 pt. floater! For me that’s so amazing!

  52. Nicholas Burridge

    February 22, 2023 at 7:17 pm

Probably the 3 most boring All-star games ever. I miss the 90’s. Like when Jordan and Kobe were defending on each other 100%.

  53. Chuck Kirby

    February 22, 2023 at 9:18 pm

The All Star game is a joke. Years ago I used to be a little competitive. Now it’s a layup line. Scoring fifty is a joke.
