Pacers played an injured bucks and cavs to get here. They played hard to get here, but if y’all are gonna play the injury card you should atleast be consistent with it.
In a weird way, this playoff run proved that KD wasn’t in the wrong leaving OKC. SGA didn’t play that great but having a number 2 like Jaylen helped him win this title.
Jaylen’s consistency is something that Westbrook could never emulate. KD knew you can’t win a title with Westbrook as a number 2 and appeared to communicate this to the front office but they didn’t move Westbrook

Going from having a superteam that came short, to all of the pieces leaving, to them losing tons of games and tons of missed playoffs, going from a play-in team to coming up short as the #1 seed in the second round, to now coming back from that loss stronger than ever and boasting a 68-14 record, to being tested by the Nuggets and Pacers. They deserved it. Debate me if you want, I know y’all are gonna cry about the refs on your trip to Cancun 😂
