I texted a friend on Friday āThat Florida is still shooting 3 pointers with a lead that big, not only can then go (do something they canāt physically do), the basketball gods are watching and will strike them at an appropriate time.ā

My wife is a Florida fan an she was concerned with their game against such a weak team, Prairie View or whoever they were. I think that was a factor. They also choked in the SEC championship series so they did end the season playing their best ball. I donāt think the better team won but on that one day they were. I am a UConn fan so I couldnāt careless.

Stop saying it was a team mistake! It was all the coachās fault! Donāt put this on the athletes, they were given an awful play call when leading the game with only seconds left. The only thing people should talk about, other than the Hawkeyes grit, is the bad call by the coach.
IOWA has to play teams of Florida skill at least twice a week during the BIG TEN season. Not sure Florida has had to play physical teams like Iowa has,

Not a punch aimed toward another player, but, if you want to play it that way, then we could call it a Hollywood style, stuntman punchā¦ missed the star of the movie entirely because the director taught the stuntman to go for the ball. It was all clearly there on tv in the close up, replays.

A 9 seed beating a 1 seed fits the definition of an upset because a significantly lower-seeded team defeated a significantly higher-seeded team.

Everybody forgets Condon tried a thunderous dunk early in the game that banged off the iron. Trying to flex.had no respect for Iowa. Lost the game by 1.
Congrats to Iowa. Canāt take anything away from them. But it looked like it was the Gators who beat the Gators.There was no sense of urgency for the first 30 minutes. Tough loss for Florida.
Iowa played hard, earned the win and deserved it, Kudos to them. Florida didnt do what a #1 seed should do to a #9 seed. Loosing 3 starters to the NBA showed today ā¦ Clayton, Martin and Richard would have never let Iowa score some of those buckets ā¦ they were lock down defenders. That last possession Coach Golden messed up, he called a full court pressure and that led to a wide open 3 which you dont want to give up ā¦ He shud have set a half court defense and just picked them up as they come down to ensure no three point shots cause your up 2. Big coaching mistake.
