The last quarter was legit best since the 2000 game but don’t tell me the first three quarters were better than the last one Jordan played in, or back when TMac was throwing himself alley oops all the time in the 2000s.

Thanks Chuck for always keeping it 100 and being one of the only NBA guys to admit the new format didnt make the difference in an exciting allstar game or not. Realistically it likely confused alot of people. The game had its exciting moments because of the guys involved and the plays they made (Chris paul alley-oop was my mvp), they admitted throughout the broadcast that both benches knew the total actual score the entire time, so the scoreboard because less important. The mood was diffferent for many reasons, Kobe and Stern mainly, and anything ‘new’ will always be ‘exciting’ to some people.

I cant hate on the event, for years its been known that they coast and play little/no defence in the allstar game til the 4th quarter, its still great to watch for many other reasons (although, can we get some better performers for pre/mid game music? cmon NBA, dont be like the NFL and put on these losers who pay to be the performers).

I understand the league, and the guys getting paid to be in/talk about the league all want to boost the NBA whenever they can, I just wanna give Barkley his props for keeping it Real!

Anyone else find it strange that they failed to show the Chris Paul dunk in both the halftime highlights and this post game recap?

CP3 was the x factor here. He played with second unit and then stayed on court with starters.. that means something..!

The only complain I have on this format is that reaching 24 points is easy for NBA players. They should make it 34 (24+8+2). At least that will give more playing time at 4th quarter.
