This is what separates players like MJ and Kobe, from the rest. The winning mentality, willingness to do whatever it takes to win, no matter the cost. Most people don’t have that in them, and I think Embiid is someone who does not have that in him 🤷🏻‍♂️

It doesn’t work with Embiid and missing more games on a load management system

Stephen A is a silly man

If Joel embiid had a heart attack it would be the end of his career. 😂

Biggest reason I can’t support the nba! Tell the fans that when they pay for them expensive tickets

Embiid is a funnier version of kawhi. All those injuries are crazy

Watch him get hurt in the first playoff game after all this

I really hate agreeing with Smith. But this is one of those times. Dude has missed more than 25% of his career games, if he plays, he ends up not playing. And if you asked Philly fans “if you win a championship or even just get to the finals but Embiid only plays 41 games” they would all take the trade (while whining about Embiid being soft).

Only a dumb person thinks PLAYERS ARE ACTIVELY SITTING OUT… if the organization is paying you 176 million over 4-5 years you think they not advising you to sit out games…

  13. @HenryBrown-n6i

    October 25, 2024 at 10:45 am

I say sit the entire year out because Philadelphia is not going to win the championship anyway, so, take the year off and get in shape.

  14. @Athraxes

    October 25, 2024 at 10:51 am

Players are payed to play… and a hilariously high salary at that… this is a slap in the face to all fans going watching the games and paying for it… and there is no acceptable reason to do this… period. Brother talks about his health but plays in the olympics… come on… get in shape, play and stfu… and if you get hurt you still got those 190 mil on the bank account to live a nice life afterwards…

i think the sixers are arrogant in thinking they’ll automatically have a playoff spot with sitting Embiid and PG out to save them for the postseason

    October 25, 2024 at 11:08 am

It’s funny that Stephen a Smith has a totally different opinion on Kawhi !!🤔

  17. @coryw6677

    October 25, 2024 at 11:28 am

Not playing Back to Back games wouldn’t get you a playoff spot in the Western Conference… If the Sixers make the playoffs and lose again Embiid will just blame everyone else again and say he didn’t have enough “help”.

Embiid was hurt in College at Kansas and he’s never played 82… The best ability is availability and he’s not there enough.

You know who else had a bunch on injuries and still played AI, Kobe, MJ, etc. Keep Doggy he keeps it real.

    October 25, 2024 at 2:06 pm

Embid gets criticized for not beinh healthy coem post season so it makes sense for the team to have a plan to save him for that period. Having said that Load Managemnt has’t worked well for Kawhi so there’s no reason to believe Embiid won’t get injured anyway in the games he does play.

How bout these pus—- get paid millions to play basketball….give me a break, that’s why I haven’t paid for an NBA ticket in 7 years, watch LeBron on Netflix show, mad about not playing MORE….thats why LeBron is LeBron, and Embiid is…..well….nothing….Philly isn’t a contender, let’s get real

  25. @kdwalden4159

    October 25, 2024 at 2:15 pm

Stephen A., just shut up…not even a Kawai fan but he’s done 10x more than Embiid ever will, u dog Kawaii but coddle this chump…and btw, if.youd ever played any sports, you’d know that being out of shape .makes it MORE Alikely the guy will get injured again…if.youre that scared of injury, you need to.retire, and you can say Embiid is a .monster lmfao, NOBODY is scared to play him and the 76ers
