In 5??After the Celtics beat the nets, bucks and miami heat????Come on man

      May 30, 2022 at 9:32 pm

@Chaddy Celtics can mess around and get fatigued against Golden State. I’m not saying like it’s a critical reason or anything like that but it’s something to take into account. Boston went to two game 7s, and because game 7 against the Heat, the Warriors have around 9 or 10 whole days of rest, while Boston has 3

    • Chaddy

      May 30, 2022 at 10:54 pm

@Ronney Augustine yeah they’ll drop game 1 as we’ve seen them do in the best. But afterwards they can split 1-1 and go to Boston and make it a series.

Great shot he played the whole game. They lost Herro and Tucker at halftime. We would’ve got ran in overtime.

Horrible shot. Too much time left. Heat down by 2. Butler’s feet not even set. No chance of going in. Lucky it wasn’t an airball.

Why didn’t the Heat give the ball to Robinson? His 3-PT accuracy is 90%.

      May 30, 2022 at 11:52 am

Duncan has been inconsistent all season plus he’s going to get into foul trouble

    • Ahjusshi _Brown

      May 30, 2022 at 12:13 pm

Bc he hasn’t been hitting shots with the minutes they gave him earlier in the series and he’s a defensive liability. Meanwhile Struss has been hitting shots and isn’t too much of a defensive liability.

I still think the right move would be to attack the backpedaling Horford. Hesi-fake the three point attempt, drive hard to the right to try and tie and game.
Worst case scenario: Miss the shot and draw a foul for 2 FTs.
Expected/normal scenario: Tie the game with a layup, no fouls drawn.
Best case scenario: Get the shot to go and a potential and-1.

Jimmy butler played every single second of the game and had zero help from the rest of the team against the beat defence. It was a regular pull up 3 u would do in a drill he just missed

Worst case scenario: He misses the shot 😂😂

Miami were rolling with the momentum mate, Jimmy played every minute of the game, he knew they didn’t have the legs to go into overtime, there is no way jimmy could go another 5 mins against Tatum and brown on his own. Miami didn’t lead at all throughout the game, he hits that shot and it’s one of the greatest shots in history. Credit to him, he had the guts and was willing to lose to win, that’s what great players and champions do.

Ok, there was nothing wrong on jimmy’s decision to take the 3. It was not wrong, it was actually a good shot to be considered, meaning it was not bad to take a 3 on that situation, but the question is, was that the best option or decision to take a 3 rather than attack the basket which is higher % shot? I think NO, coz he can be fouled by boston and shoots 2 ft. So again, to end this topic, yes jimmy shot was good and there was nothing wrong, but that was not the best option and decision to make.

      May 30, 2022 at 1:17 pm

Atleast wait for ya team to get in position to rebound.

    • Leks Rosales

      May 30, 2022 at 1:28 pm

@6thbr that is also the one of the best options or decisions to make. Take your time, you have 20s left on game clock and only downed by 2. Set your play and attack the rim which was jimmy had been so effective this series. But, sometimes basketball is not only all about physicality and learning or practicing how to shoot the ball, it is also a mind games and mindmatic strategy on how you will think and make decisions especially like this critical moments to win the ball game.

Steven A wouldn’t know about a walk off shot. He was never on the court he was on the bench in warm ups

    May 30, 2022 at 2:14 pm

Horrible shot. Butler is shooting below 25% from deep this season. He also was 1/3 from deep that game before he took the shot. Jimmy Butler doesn’t pull up from 3.

      36% in this environment tho

That shot was awful. Worst possible shot bc he is an awful three point shooter.

    • Hamas Harabi

      May 30, 2022 at 10:24 pm

      😂😂 shot was so off.

  12. Kevin E.

    May 30, 2022 at 3:18 pm

It’s not that the shot was necessarily horrible, but Jimmy isn’t the guy you want taking that shot. Perk comparing Jimmy doing a pullup three to KD makes no sense, because KD is a prolific shot maker, especially in the clutch.

  13. Raymond Bermea

    May 30, 2022 at 4:12 pm

Jimmy Butler could have just drove to the basket against Al Horford and get an and one instead of trying to play hero ball going for the three.

    • Mj Goat23

      May 30, 2022 at 9:17 pm

Horford is one of the best pint defenders and like Perkins said he played back to back 48 min games, I don’t think he had enough strength in his legs left to drive on one of the best paint defenders

    • TheDonUrbas

      May 31, 2022 at 10:09 am

I seen this dumb comment so many times you think “and one” is a type of shot or something you can just make out of nothing?

  14. Elizabeth Hill

Perkins always half analyze the games he don’t tell the full situation

Jimmy Bulter regular season 3P%: 0.233

  18. LoveMusicVideoArt

    May 30, 2022 at 10:14 pm

That was a bad shot man. Just go up on Al and get the 2 potentially and 1. Bad shot. That’s not Jimmy’s shot. He is not KD or Dame so why compare apples and trees 🤷🏾‍♀️

    May 30, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Respect to Jimmy, he had the guts, and was willing to lose to win.
