To those saying it was the wrong piece for the Mavs to acquire let me ask you this; Would any team of those “right pieces” trade them in exchange for Boban, Chriss, Burke, Brown and a 26th pick? Answer is obviously No. Good trade; 1 year 14 million left, if it doesn’t work out trade him mid season if he turns out to be great we re-sign him to 4y 77million which would be a steal if he steps up. We will still retain our core 8 players either way. Great job Mavs Front Office.

I’m always apprehensive when I see guys on bad teams with good stats go to good teams. Just because you did well on a horrible team doesn’t mean you can do it on a good team. Look at Porzingis. He does great on bad teams. Sucked on the Mavs.

Stephen A loves it ofc bc it’s not the trade everyone was expecting or hoping for let’s be honest. SAS knows Lukas the next MJ/BIRD/LBJ mixed so if it’s an ehh trade he’s giddy as can be. If it would have been Zach lavine or any other all star + center he would have been nervous n in shambles 😂😂

Spurs fan here. Mavericks are dangerous if the keep Brunson. Golden state, suns and mavs than the grizzlies but dallas is for sure a top 2 or 3 team in the west
