NBA basketball is more physical than ever. However, there’s LIFTING going on all the time, praised as “handles.” There’s double-dribbling and travel ling.

I knew 3 schmucks, 1 schmo, and 1 schlub that formed a 5-man team at the local YMCA club. Hand-checking was allowed, everyone took the rock to the rim and got pummeled, there was no perimeter shooting in the sweat-filled gym, they’d box out, and bang hard down low, and if you were weak they’d send you home. Lakers wouldn’t have a chance against those guys, and that’s no jive.

The best thing to do for tankers team is to create a second league where the last team of each conference goes down to the second league and the first 2 teams go to NBA like in football

The Lakers fans are some gullible Fools. The Lakers are setting up their fans for a massive playoff disappointment. They will be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs no matter who they play. The Lakers can’t play solid defense enough against good teams “on a consistent basis” to win a 7 games series. Luka will have another crybaby meltdown in the playoffs when he doesn’t get all the calls he wants. Lebron will go down with an old guy injury soon too. The Lakers will not win a series. They are gone in the first round of the playoffs.

DPOY is to recognize the best defensive player always has been. MVP is for the best offensive + valuable player to the team. They bringing this up to discount players. STOP!!

I remember Nash Nowitzki Curry Harden and Jokic being the best defender of their team locking up the opponent best offensive player averaging 5 blocks and 5 steals per game while being the main offensive point of thier own team. Ah, time flies, Luka may average a 40point triple double with steals and all he does is offense and he’s not eligible to be called the top MVP 😂

You motherfucker talking about defense when both Curry and Nash won it twice! This stupid Jaywil.

ESPN y’all know what draymond meant, y’all intentionally misconstrued his take.

How about Steph? Unanimous MVP…Can’t recollect how elite his defense was when he won those MVPs…..

    March 26, 2026 at 11:12 pm

Draymond is right‼️ people literally came on tv after Wemby said that and changed their minds from Shai to Wemby based only on what Wemby said including Steven A Smith

    March 26, 2026 at 11:15 pm

They don’t always factor playing on the defensive side not too long ago Steph won league MVPs then Harden won it. None of those dudes scream lock down defender to me. It’s all about the narrative and how their team were crushing the regular season when they won it.
