KD said that then but I bet he would love to go to New York now. They’re on the doorstep to going to the Finals. As great a player as KD is, he leaves a bad taste in my mouth jumping or forcing his way to teams that are ready to win. He ring chases like an old vet who hasn’t won a Championship before. Wish he could have proven he could win as the top dog. He never did. It would have been different if he had stayed and won one in OKC.

For people who still watch Stephen a, this video be more than enough to know that most of his analysis is based on fabricated assumptions. He might as well be analyzing a return of dinosaurs from extinction eating random people

Steven A, should know better buy now. The Knicks always want somebody-else “has been”. Over the years we tried; Spencer Haywood, Larry Johnson, Jason Kidd, Stephone Marbury, Joakim Noah, Amar’e Stoudemire, Latrell Sprewell ,Vin Baker, Chauncey Billups, Rolando Blackman, Melo etc. Most of these guys were in their prime or passed there prime. The only big name to assist the Knicks in winning the NBA championship was Earl Monroe. Take” Steven A” and the others with a “grain of salt” KD is not needed in NYC period! – ask the Brooklyn NETS! He left them in bad shape.

The topic is not about the Knicks pursuing KD. It’s about them putting out the word publicly that they are not interested. There’s a difference.

Listen here ESPN…..Tell us what trade package would actually make sense for the Knicks to get KD ? You have not yet gave us a logical trade package. Towns, Brunson, OG, Bridges and maybe even Hart are not logical. Mitch is the only guy that it makes sense to move and he only makes 1/3 the $. So go ahead ESPN enlighten us. Comment a logical trade package that makes sense for the Knicks.

Also KD could have been a Knick for a while now but he chose to try to be “cool” instead and go to Brooklyn. He said the Knicks arent cool lmao.

We Knicks fans don’t want 37 yrs old KD . He had an opportunity to come when he was in his prime but chose the Nets.

Love KD’s game, but it would take more than KAT to get him here. So, depending on what you have to give up, we could be looking at PHX 2.0.

The New York Knicks haven’t won a title since 1973-52 years of waiting. They’ve brought in serious talent like Jalen Brunson (2022), Mikal Bridges (July 2024), and Karl-Anthony Towns (October 2024), but then turned around and fired Tom Thibodeau, a proven head coach who gave them five strong seasons. That move alone raises questions about their direction.

Now, with Marc J. Spears reporting that the Knicks have “no interest” in trading for Kevin Durant, it’s hard not to see the irony. Stephen A. Smith reminded everyone of KD’s infamous comment back in 2019 when he called the Knicks “corny.” At the time, he wasn’t wrong-the franchise was floundering. But Knicks owner James Dolan clearly didn’t forget. According to Stephen A., this isn’t just basketball-it’s personal. Dolan’s pettiness may be driving the decision to pass on one of the greatest scores in NBA history.

And maybe that’s a blessing in disguise-for KD. He’s not here to relive the Brooklyn saga, where he carried a team to the 2021 semifinals without a strong coaching staff. He’s chasing legacy, not drama. He wants structure, a championship culture, and a coach who can match his intensity. Wherever KD goes, ticket sales spike, performance soars, and expectations rise.

So thank you, Knicks, for showing your cards. If you’re still holding grudges from five years ago instead of chasing banners, maybe KD dodged a bullet. Because he’s not looking for “cool”-he’s looking for greatness.
