50 cent was right, this guy is a fn joke. Doing the corporate dance and trying to defend the laughing stock of the NBA. He should have just said, he is part of the organization going into a different direction that they are optimistic about, and left it at that. He could have kept his integrity that way respectably instead of sounding like a used car salesman trying to sell us a lemon.

As a marketing guy, this dude is drunk on his own ideas, he has too many sycophants around him. You can tell he’s not used to being challenged

Steve Stout sounds so incompetent. He has no idea how to manage a basketball team.
His whole gimmick is I’m black so I can get players to come to New York.
    It better work.

Max gonna have to change his name to Killerman! The Knicks will suck as long as Dolan owns the team, period! It made me laugh when they were talking about the whole Oakley thing…could you imagine that spoiled brat apologizing to anyone? Nope, me neither! You wanna talk iconic, Oakley is one of the most iconic Knicks ever and that dickhead had him thrown out of MSG!

What the Knicks need to do is get Julius Randle, Bobby Portis,Mo Harkless and Taj Gibson’s contract off of the books. Then in free agency id take a look at Andre Drummond or Hassan Whiteside if Mitchell Robinson isn’t going to be your guy. I’d also take a look at Brandon Ingram if he becomes a free agent. Keep Elfrid Payton and draft another stud to go along with RJ Barrett or trade the pick for a super star caliber player. I think the biggest mistake the Knicks made this year was signing the few players they did sign to big contracts. They weren’t going to be competitive anyway. They should be developing there young talent to see who was going to stick. Missing out on Zion def hurt them. They will be fine. I’m a 76ers fan and dealt with the process and as of now I’m pleased with the results. The Knicks should be doing the same thing. Give it 2 more years and the Knicks will be back.

Can someone please name those great players the knicks traded away to get Melo? I remember Melo being coveted by several teams. ESPN must admit the Knicks can do NO RIGHT MOVE in their eyes. ESPN is no different from foxnews, msnbs, and cnn. Propaganda trumps journalism.
