And they say he’s not a point guard

    • Shreyas Vangala

      November 24, 2022 at 12:03 am

Obviously he drops dimes and has insane handles but his shooting outshines all his other abilities so a shooting guard is a more lethal role for him.

    • MannyYo

      November 24, 2022 at 1:17 am

@Shreyas Vangala heโ€™s still a point guard regardless. Yโ€™all think PGs gotta be traditional or something.

    • WilliamVN

      November 24, 2022 at 1:17 am

@Shreyas Vangala If Kyrie, Dame, Ja, Luka are point guards then Curry is a point guard. A point guard that canโ€™t score have no place in the NBA rn.

    • Empirical Purity

      November 24, 2022 at 8:44 pm

@Shreyas Vangala No it’s not. Being reduced to a pure shooting guard would completely nullify all of his gravity. He is by far the best player to shot off the dribble, which forces the defense to pick him up early, thus creating openings and easy shoots for the rest of the team. You’re just focusing on one aspect of his game and ignoring the rest.

They are that good when they play it right. Their away performances are the only gms where they’ve been horrible this season.

That is why you should always give time working on those dribble drills. It really looks like one of that that coaches makes us do in front of the cones.

This year he feels like a combination of 2013 Steph and 2021 Steph. A lotta passing, but still a lot of volume scoring. EFFICIENT volume scoring.

If only Wiseman can screen like that

    • Empirical Purity

      November 24, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Wiseman has low Basketball IQ and is reluctant to make contact on screens. Just because someone has the physical attributes to play in the NBA doesn’t mean they have the mental attributes to do so. Players like Steph, Kyrie, and CP3 are the opposite. They are short and not very athletic but are able to achieve success with hard work and dedication.
