Great effort by the spurs on an off night. Down 31-11 most teams would have quit, but the spurs fought back tough loss. Hats off to the grizz

As a grizzlies fan, I have to give the Spurs credit. They could have won this game if just a couple more plays went their way. Which is crazy after being down 19 in the first.

The Spurs have to move on from Demar. They will continue to miss the playoffs if their best player can’t shoot 3s.

Can’t really count on Derozan when it mattered the most. At this stage of his career, he will be good as a 3rd or 4th option on a contender team.

People need to stop blaming demar for this loss, the entire Spurs team shot bad and he didn’t even shoot the worst on the team yet he gets blamed. Other than Rudy gay demar had very little help.

Spurs to do list this off-season
    1) DO NOT bring back Demar 🚮
    2) trade for or draft an actual BIG who blocks and dunks everything
    3) move Derrick White to the Point Guard position and DJ to the SG
    4) Pop needs to retire and let Becky build a future with all the young kids
5)Sign 3pt scorers in Free Agency to round out the team who are 6’5 or taller

I am so sad that the Grizzlies, Warriors, Knicks, Hawks, Heat and Celtics are better than the Raptors. The Raptors have a lot of weaknesses and an uncertain future. So many players are very young and have a long way to go that we do not know their potential or if there is. They said this year’s Raptors season is one of the worst seasons in Raptors history. Well, Masai and Lowry are leaving and a new beginning and chapter for the Raptors franchise. I would like to thank you Masai and Lowry for the memories. The Raptors 2019 championship will be remembered. Rebuild is here and a new generation of Raptors already started. Is going to take a while before they start winning consistently. Next season is going to be growing pains and no expectations. I am okay with that and stay patient Raptors fans.

As a Spurs fan this game was mad disappointing and irritating. I already knew we would comeback from that 1st quarter deficit so no surprise there…but man for the first time in awhile we looked like the inexperienced and heartless team down the stretch. Props to the grizz though 🤝, especially Dillion Brooks with that energy and Jonas.V with his annoying putbacks / rebounds. Those two guys were key and with Derozan having his worst shooting night of the season there was just no hope in pulling it out in the clutch. Seriously man 5 for 21! But I guess what comes around goes around…grizz finally get some revenge after years of spurs torture.

by far the worst season since pop took over. definitely the most disappointing. the irony is that this is perhaps the most talented team pop has had in my opinion. the spurs made mistakes at every stop. holding on to lamarcus when it was clear the team was better without him (not to say lamarcus was a bad player…he certainly wasn’t). signing giorgi dieng and marquis chriss when you had two fully capable (and much better i think) young front court players in luka samanic and trey lyles. playing rudy and patty 25 minutes a game throughout the season made no sense. especially when it was clear that the team had trouble getting stops late. even in this game. it amazes me how much mike d’antoni’s dead end, high pace, high scoring, play no defense basketball philsophy has rubbed off/influenced the league. even the spurs— who pretty much dominated the 2000s by relying soley on playing good defense. there doesn’t seem to be any plan for the team moving forward except to keep acquiring a bunch of 30+ year olds to retard the development of the young players on the team. we’ve watched young players around the league get real playing time (anthony edwards) and develop in 1-2 years (tyler herro) and now they look like legit players on the rosters. potential all stars even. it’s been 3 years now and we’re still sitting here waiting for guys like lonnie walker to “reach their potential.” why? spurs waive chimezie metu. why? lamarcus sits out and luka still can’t get on the floor. why?–how? spurs trying to protect a lead in the 4th quarter and patty mills plays more minutes in the quarter than the best defenders on the team. why? just an absolute throw-away season. i feel sorry for guys like dejounte, lonnie, derrick etc. because this was the season they were supposed to take that leap forward. unfortunately brian wright and coaching staff had other plans. this is the worst feeling i’ve had since the spurs let that game 6 slip away in the finals against the heat in 2013. the only think i think of that could, in a sense, salvage this season would be for the spurs to get their picks right on draft day.

Call me crazy but I feel that the Spurs should get rid of Murray. He’s a natural ball hog and doesn’t have a Spurs type of unselfish playing style. This has really been effecting the team’s chemistry. Then when you have someone like DeRozan which is a similar ball Hog you have a recipe for disaster.
