Chuck was right, Kenny was completely wrong, Shaq made a couple decent points, Ernie played to the crowd when he thought the conversation was getting too interesting.

I won’t be surprised if A.D becomes the new NBA Villan dealing with clutch sports and ruins his image or him just leaving clutch sports before they tarnish his career further down the road..smh lol

Chuck it is always a conflict of interest when you tell a team where you want to be traded

Without no-trade clause players are tradable assets. This means the GM’s doesn’t need to care about the feelings of the player they’re trading.

I wish these guys had this conversation when Melo wanted to be traded only to New York, while still under contract with the Nuggets. I don’t remember hearing this much outrage from Chuck!

what AD is doing, although it superficially appears selfish and self centered, is a courtesy to everyone involved. he is letting the pelicans know ahead of time that he will not be resigning which allows the pelicans to shop around and get something in value for him in a trade, and he is allowing prospective teams that are looking to trade for him to decide whether or not to actually pursue a deal for AD and how much to give up for him pending on the chances of him signing a long term contract with the new team. kenny is right, although he didn’t articulate himself as clearly as he normally does.

Erik Kire AD did the right thing in letting the team he wouldn’t resign. The situation became toxic when the information got out publicly. And when we got news that he ONLY wanted to be traded to LA it really messed everything up.

+Chris Rabeony , nothing wrong with that. he’s a star and he has leverage. at least the pelicans and other teams know what his intentions are and will make trades accordingly. if he wasn’t a star, his “demands” would be brushed aside and laughed at, but since he IS a star, his demands need to be taken seriously. that’s just a part of the industry.

Players are ruining the league with their power trips. AD signed a contract and got paid. If I were an NBA team I’d put in a provision where missing minutes would cost heavily or if the player is disgruntled he can buy out of his contract for a hefty amount. I don’t think the CBA allows that though. Thank goodness we have Chuck! I hope my guys Lillard and C.J. never try this garbage.

Pelicans have to act to the best of their interests…AD to his and so on…the issue here (i dont get why) might be, when AD should let Pelicans he wanted out? He should have done it privately…and sure he an understand for the team might be better to wait till summer…so if AD is mad now, I dont understand why…he should have gotten his chances to be yraded wrong. Just because you want out it doesnt happen now. He still under contract and he should just be a professional.

Come on lets be rational, Anthony definitely has the right to decide which game to go before the building.
