To everyone who lacks attention to detail, Shaq didn’t get it right. She said to poke your head through the hole without ripping the paper. She never said, “…without YOU ripping the paper.” This implies that paper shouldn’t be ripped by anyone. Had she said, “poke your head through the hole and YOU cannot rip the paper,” Shaq would’ve got it. Unfortunately, he misunderstood the assignment.
