The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Washington Wizards 127–108 to remain undefeated at 6–0, while the Wizards fell to 1–4.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 31 points, 7 assists, and 3 three-pointers—his fifth 30+ point game of the season—while Isaiah Joe added 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 threes. CJ McCollum paced the Wizards with 19 points and 5 three-pointers, including his 2,000th career three-pointer, becoming the 18th player in NBA history to reach that milestone.

Gilgeous-Alexander extended his streak of 20+ point games to 78, one shy of Oscar Robertson for the third-longest streak in NBA history; the last time he scored under 20 was exactly a year ago, on Oct. 30, 2024, versus San Antonio.

Mind you JDub hasn’t played a single game, Chet has missed 2 games, Caruso has missed 3 games, Topic hasn’t played a single game and most likely won’t play again for a while, Kenrich hasn’t played, Joe missed the first 5 games, and the rookie Sorber is out for the season. This man is the MVP
