That bit about Hayward, if we go with this “its pointless because it was against a weaker team” thing, can we cast the same light on the lakers vs bulls? Azin Yes it was a comeback, but against the developing Bulls when the Lakers are mostly veterans. Is the impact diminished as a result?

Gobert is so uncoordinated in offense he can’t even take advantage of mismatches. Just stick to lobs and put backs because he’s going to embarrass himself trying to post up like Embiid

It’s so annoying to watch someone who looks like he can’t move quicker than a walking pace talking about how an NBA player had easy shots so he made them.

Gobert isn’t good enough for the offense to run through him. Plus this team falls short in the playoffs every year with him being a factor or not.

If I’m Conley & Mitchell I would defiantly feed the ball to Gobert non stop next game and see if he can produce. (I think he can, but will be fun to watch). Regardless what happens, in theory Gobert is right. You can’t have an offense that doesn’t utilize the big man, that’s called playing soft aka 2019 Millennial Ball. To make matters worse the perimeter players on the Jazz are NOT expounding as much effort on defense as Gobert. When he protects the paint and blocks shots you have to reward him on the other end. Ultimately this is similar to fe Shaq/Kobe feud.
