I asked Rodman for his shoes when I was 8 in Chicago game in 97. He gave me his jocks and shoes. Both were too big for me to wear. Needless to say I threw his jocks and I kept the shoes. My older cousin stole the shoes though and proudly displays it in a glass case in his house lmao

@Julian Aviles it turnes out a blessing in disguise though because our house burned when I was in college. Had I kept Rodman’s shoes in the house they would be gone with the fire. Dennis Rodman rivalled Jordan in extremely popularity during those years. Us kids had to color our hair and we went to prep schools!!

I really doubt you have the fucking shoes. Nobody in their right mind would be typing crap like “lol” if they stole game-worn Dennis Rodman shoes. Dennis Rodman who is a Hall of Famer and a 5x NBA Champion (I might be off) a 2x DPOTY, 2x All-Star and arguably one of the greatest if not the best rebounders in NBA history on top of being one of the most versatile players in the NBA had ever seen. Yeah, you’re full of shit. I know that Dennis Rodman gave his jerseys away in his shoes to fans usually would happen when he was ejected from the games. Any logical human being would be pissed and break that fucking case wide open it take the fucking shoes back. The fact that you laughing your ass off because your cousin stole from you and probably displays the theft that he committed and now has shoes that are worth at least at least $3,000. Fuck outta here. All you’re trying to do is be relatable to Steve Nash.

    6″1 Steve Nash – 2x MVP ( 2005, 2006 )
If Steve Nash won the MVP in the 90s, Lebron fans would say that white non-sports players dominated
    the 90s.

    Steve Nash ( age 24 ) in the 1998/99 season an average: 8-ppg FG-36%
    Steve Nash ( age 36 ) in the 2010/11 season an average: 14-ppg. FG-49% and 11-APG.
JORDAN will be dominate in this era.

I’m 45 and Steve’s a year older then I. I’m from Richmond bc. Richmond Colt alum. I played so many open gyms with Steve in Richmond growing up it’s crazy. He would hop the ferry to come ball in Vancouver because we had all the provincial talent back then. Pretty cool to say I watched Steve in highschool. Also played ball with him. Such a amazing guy and athlete. So much class.

This is a great story! Good for you Nash. I am sure you were not the only one. AI, Kobe, Penny and many more were in awe when they shared the court with MJ for the first time. That shoes is a keeper and its probably the AJ11 Bred, damnn.

The level of respect and fear of MJ by other players is unmatchable. I am sure there were many other guys who did similar thing *as opponents during games*!. I heard that in interviews of players. Imagine being paid to compete against him and saying f#! that I freaking adore the man and ask him *during the game* for his shoes or whatever after the game! I don’t believe there was a single player doing this for lebron ever. And there you have another indication about why MJ is the true goat and lbj not even in top 5 ever. Think about it, only for the true goat something like that would make sense. For the fake stat padding self proclaimed goat, no such respect by opponents or teammates, many of whom don’t even have any respect for him whatsoever. MJ by far the most respected and loved player ever by fans and all players, lbj one of the most disliked, rather hated, nba players ever, due to the way he carries himself, his tactics and all. For the true goat it only makes sense and is expected to be loved, respected and feared to the extreme!
