No you’re not the only one frustrated. Losing is not fun and this idea that we’ll just be able to say “be patient, we’re rebuilding” basically everytime we lose is getting old extremely fast. It’ll be 5 years from now and they’ll be using that same excuse. I really wonder if Silas is the man for this job.

It’s mildly annoying that they’re not winning games but far from frustrating. It’s rookies and scrubs. A lot the scrubs are playing hero ball on offense and doing a terrible job on defense. I’m pretty enthused by the performances of the players who matter: Bari, Tari and TyTy. Bari is NBA ready on defense and almost always make the right decision. His offensive game will come. Tari looks like a rough but impact player on both sides of the ball .TyTy’s also looked good in spurts.

@jimshorts86 the thing is that we’re also playing their rookies and scrubs, so the losing is relative. My main fear is that the rockets unintentionally create this culture of losing by not having high enough expectations and allowing the “we’re rebuilding….just be patient” mantra to flourish too much. Losing can become your identity and acceptable if you’re not careful.

I saw the same thing. I think he actually receives a pass and then takes two steps before dribbling again, but highly suspect. Summer league refs trying to keep the game moving, haha.

Did we draft Nix 3rd overall? No. The summer league should have been ran thru the 3 picks we got to develop them. Bad coaching from the rockets.
